Chess Moves

If you do a quick tumblr search of Houston-based rapper OG Che$$, you'll see a lot of folks are already pretty excited by his recent collaboration with A$AP Ferg, "Harlem To Texas" (catch the video above.) As I mentioned earlier today, I only just discovered OG Che$$ this past week when I heard him featured on Rich-P's Assassination. At the beginning of the year Che$$ dropped his presumed first mixtape, titled Chess Moves Vol. 1, and I've given it several spins throughout the weekend, and I'm still enjoying every track. He's currently working on Chess Moves Vol. 2, and has dropped two new singles from the upcoming mixtape in the past month. His flow and voice are unique and intriguing, and that with his ability to viciously attack a beat while always sounding vaguely disinterested has me eagerly awaiting the rest of Vol. 2.
