Skull And Bones

Submitted for the approval of the Midnight Society...
Blue Sky Black Death had a busy 2012. They put out two more mixtapes with Nacho Picasso to round out their trilogy of collaborative tapes and also dropped a killer EP with Deniro Farrar that has me hoping for a future LP-worth of material from the pairing. At the tail end of 2012 they dropped yet another mixtape, this time with Bolo Nef & Caz Greez on the bars. On Skull And Bones the two rappers hit the beats with a slowed down vibe similar to Nacho's; though they certainly seem to have a little more fun with it, changing out a ceaseless pun-game steeped in cynical views for more of a party atmosphere that seems to compliment Nacho's 2AM and already fucked up vibes. Skull And Bones could almost be considered a prequel to Nacho's trilogy; a feat that more than anything shows the cohesive nature of BSBD's production. The production duo always brings their a-game, and with such an extensive catalog in 2012 we're left all the more excited for what 2013 may bring from Blue Sky Black Death.
